ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael’s is hiring a Contract Specialist (Hybrid) to support a Department of Defense (DoD) client. As the Contract Specialist, you will prepare and review pre-award and post-award documents, conduct analysis of cost and price factors, perform procurement procedures applicable to complex and simple procurements. You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your previous contracting experience interpreting solicitation provisions and contract clauses for vendors and government officials. Our core value of Dependability will be paramount to this role as you will be advising requiring activities on processes for inspection and acceptance of goods and services, and coordinating invoice receipt.
LOCATION
Ft. Eustis, VA (Hybrid)
WHO YOU ARE
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Five years experience performing pre and post-award acquisition-related functions for federal contracts.
- Level II DAWIA Certification in the Contracting Career Field, FAC-C Level 2, CFCM, or industry equivalent certification.
- Expert knowledge in pre-award phase using simplified acquisition procedures in support of purchase orders and task order awards.
