ABOUT THIS ROLE

St. Michael’s is hiring a Journeyman Financial Specialist to support a Department of Defense client. As a Journeyman Financial Specialist, you will monitor certified documents sent to the performing activities and track obligation status. Our core value of Commitment will be paramount to this role as you will research the difference in funds issued in Electronic Funds Distribution (EFD) to those loaded in DEAMS, GFEBS, and GAFS BQ. Review the FAD history, BETR report, Selective Transaction History, and Status of Funds to determine causes/ solutions.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 5 years of Department of Defense financial budgeting or execution experience
  • 3 years of experience with automated tools such as GFEBS, ABSS, DEAMS, FIS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • SECRET clearance
