ABOUT THIS ROLE

St. Michael’s is hiring a Contract Specialist (Hybrid) to support a Department of Defense client. As the Contract Specialist, you will prepare pre-solicitation documentation to include, Determination and Findings (D&F) and Small Business coordination (DD Form 2579). You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your previous contracting experience staffing pre-solicitation documentation for appropriate review and approvals and post applicable notices in the Federal Business Opportunities as required.  Our core value of Dependability will be paramount to this role as you will independently review evaluation input from a variety of sources, provide necessary feedback, and prepare contract negotiation positions (such as PNM and BCM) for PCO review and approval.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Secret Clearance
  • Five years’ experience performing Department of Defense services acquisition-related functions, including pre-solicitation, pre-award, post-award, and contract closeout activities.
  • Level II DAWIA Certification in the Contracting Career Field, FAC-C, or industry equivalent certification.
  • Expert knowledge in pre-award phase using simplified acquisition procedures in support of purchase orders and task order awards.
